Substance Free Treatment

Addiction Treatment Options

For many people struggling with addiction or substance use disorder, the first step is the toughest step. It is not easy to recognize you have a problem and even harder to decide to ask for help. Know that you are never alone, help is always available!

Once you've committed to recovery, it's time to explore your local treatment options. At SAC, we don't directly offer addiction treatment. Instead, we provide Calhoun County with education, prevention, and intervention. Although, we have local partners who offer direct substance use disorder treatment. While addiction treatment can vary according to the specific drug or need, a successful program often includes different elements, and we like to provide all of Calhoun County's local resource on one sheet below so you can make a decision on which treatment route is the best for you or a loved one.

We also encourage everyone to also seek National help through SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration). SAMHSA is a confidential and anonymous resource for persons seeking treatment for mental and substance use disorders in the United States.
