Celebrate Recovery Committee
The Celebrate Recovery Committee is facilitated by volunteer
co-chairs and is made up of individuals representing and
supporting people who are in recovery from an addiction.
Monthly meetings are held to plan and implement activities, events, and
to determine ways
to share information with the general public about drug
addiction, treatment, and the recovery process –“treatment works
and recovery is possible”.
Specific activities are planned to observe National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month in September of each year, such as Proclamations, public service announcements, a walk and rally, and social events to draw community members together to indeed “celebrate recovery.”
